Verily: P2P, CLM, and T&E on Coupa — With the Coupa/SAP Integrations to Match
A life-sciences company implemented Coupa procure-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, and travel & expense with DataMap, including the complex integrations between Coupa and SAP.

Client
Verily
The challenge
Verily runs SAP as its system of record. Bringing procure-to-pay onto Coupa — and then contract lifecycle management and travel & expense — meant every module had to reconcile cleanly with SAP: suppliers, POs, invoices, contracts, and expenses moving both ways without manual re-keying.
What we did
DataMap implemented Coupa P2P, then CLM, then T&E, and built the integrations between Coupa and SAP for each. The integration work was designed alongside the module configuration rather than bolted on afterwards, so finance and procurement worked from the same numbers from the first transaction.
Results
Rachel Katz, Director of Software Engineering at Verily:
"DataMap has done amazing work with us on our implementations of P2P, CLM, and now T&E (including all our crazy integrations between Coupa/SAP), and we're discussing future partnerships as well."
Why it matters
Module-by-module expansion is the normal path for Coupa customers. The teams that expand smoothly are the ones whose integration layer was built to grow — the same Coupa ↔ SAP foundation carried P2P, then contracts, then expenses.
